Georgian Church and Culture Center opened in Amsterdam

The head of the TIKA TOURS, Tika Svanidze-Vancko, opened the Cross of the Cross and the Georgian Culture Center in Amsterdam. The long time dream of Georgian emigrants residing in the capital of the Kingdom of the Netherlands has been fulfilled and from now on the liturgy of prayer is systematically arranged. Emigrants and their children will learn Georgian writing-reading, history, geography and culture in the Georgian Cultural Center based on TIKA TOURS head Tika Svanidze-Vanko.

Gela Dumbadze, State Minister for Diaspora Issues, presented books and discs of Georgian language and literature, geography, history and Georgian folk tales.

The Georgian Embassy and Consulate representatives attended the presentation of the Georgian Culture Center and the blessing of the Church together with immigrants. The choreographic studio will work for emigrants living in Holland, who will be led by professional dancer Medea Zhorzholiani. The first dancing lesson was drawn after the presentation was finished.
