Georgian Dutch Business Forum in The Hague
It was a great pleasure to be a part of this wonderful Georgian Dutch business forum organised by EU - Georgia Business Council EUGBC and the Georgian embassy in The Netherlands! I truly loved to promote my unique Georgia.
Georgian Church and Culture Center opened in Amsterdam
The head of the TIKA TOURS, Tika Svanidze-Vancko, opened the Cross of the Cross and the Georgian Culture Center in Amsterdam. The long time dream of Georgian emigrants residing in the capital of the Kingdom of the Netherlands has been fulfilled and from now on the liturgy of prayer is systematically arranged. The church was blessed by the Archbishop of Belgium and Holland, Dositheus. Georgians living in other Dutch cities in Amsterdam also arrived in Amsterdam and attended church blessings.
Emigrants and their children will learn Georgian writing-reading, history, geography and culture in the Georgian Cultural Center based on TIKA TOURS head Tika Svanidze-Vanko.
Gela Dumbadze, State Minister for Diaspora Issues, presented books and discs of Georgian language and literature, geography, history and Georgian folk tales.
The Georgian Embassy and Consulate representatives attended the presentation of the Georgian Culture Center and the blessing of the Church together with immigrants. According to the Georgian ambassador Konstantine Surguladze, Georgian Church and Culture Center is important for Georgians born in the Netherlands.
The choreographic studio will work for emigrants living in Holland, who will be led by professional dancer Medea Zhorzholiani. The first dancing lesson was drawn after the presentation was finished. The concert was held within the scope of the event. Georgian songs were performed by the Folk Ensemble "Mamuli". Tika Svanidze -Vancko and her children sang for emigrants. The studio will also study Georgian folk songs in the center of culture. As Georgians living in Holland. The Georgian Church and Culture Center is important for each emigrant.
Georgian tasting and drinking tasting was also held at the presentation.
